L´holocauste Museum Level 2

L’holocauste museum level 2 is on the second floor of the museum. This story is a very touching one. To keep explaining what we left in the last post. “L´holocauste Museum Level 1”.

Nazis established over 20,000 camps. These camps and subcamps of concentration were to imprison “enemies of the State”. After an official government policy, the government created six death camps. The Auschwitz, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, and Treblinka were the bigger ones. They were all located in Poland where World War 2 began. In those camps, they killed a lot of Jews in the gas chambers.

Because of these situations, a huge amount of people risked their lives to rescues jews. They hide them and falsified their papers so they could escape. 

After a huge time, Allied forces liberated the camps. By that time Nazis had already killed two-thirds of Europe´s Jewish population. 

Above all, we must know the story. We must share the story to avoid repeating it. I read this amazing quote at the begging of the museum. It said, “Not to transmit an experience is to betray it – Elie Wiesel”.  We must share to learn from our mistakes. Let’s focus on being the best versions of ourselves.

This museum was created by real victims. Victims of these events migrate to Montreal, Canada after the events.

Museo del Holocausto Nivel 2

Museo del holocausto nivel 2 es el segundo piso del museo. Esta historia es muy conmovedora. Es para continuar con la publicación anterior.“Museo del Holocausto Nivel 1”.

Los Nazis establecieron alrededor de 20,000 campos. Estos eran los campos de concentración y sub-campos para aprisionar a “enemigos del estado”. Después de una política oficial de gobierno, el gobierno creo 6 campos de muerte. Auschwitz, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, and Treblinka eran los mas grandes. Todos ubicados en Polonia donde la segunda Guerra Mundial empezó. En estos campos mataron a demasiados judíos en cámaras de gas.

Por estas situaciones muchas personas arriesgaron sus vidas para rescatar a judios. Los escondían y falsificaban sus papeles para que pudieran escapar.

Después de un largo tiempo, las fuerzas aliadas liberaron los campos. Para ese entonces, los Nazis ya habían asesinado a dos tercios de judíos de la población de Europa.

Debemos conocer la historia. Debemos compartir la historia para evitar repetirla. Leí una frase que me conmovió mucho. Al inicio del museo que decía “No trasmitir la experiencia es como traicionarla – Elie Wiesel”. Tenemos que compartirla para aprender de nuestros errores. Enfoquemonos en ser la mejor versión de nosotros.

Este museo fue creado por víctimas reales. Victimas de estos eventos que migraron a Montreal, Canadá después de lo sucedido.
