    Frozen Old Port Montreal

The weather in Montreal is intense. In the moment I start to experience the cold weather was shocking. I never imagine that the lake of old port such as the zone where the boats where could get frozen. The day I visit the beautiful place was snowing and freezing but anyway we decide it to go. We had to run and seek for shelter after doing an angel in the snow. The thing was that we didn’t wore the right clothes for that, so we freeze out. Everything was worth it cause I saw a view I’ve never seen before that, I might post a video about it! You can…

    Ice Skating at Open Sky

The best experience ever! Ice Skating at open sky in the beautiful Vieux Port in Montreal was the best think I’ve ever done! I have to say that it was freezing but worth it. It was almost dark when a friend and I decided to go ice skating. I’ve skated in the past but just in close areas and I love how it was skating at night with an amazing view. Luckily for us, they closed at 9pm and in Montreal the dark sky arrives at 4:40pm. We could enjoy the view, the cold weather and the rink before it got crowded. It was an amazing day! Follow me on:…

    Mont Royal

Right in the center of the Island of Montreal there´s a beautiful park, in a mountain, named Mont Royal in honor of a castle. This park is one of the biggest greenspaces in Montreal. In the tallest point of the mountain there’s a castle called “Chalet du Mont-Royal”. This castle has a big esplanade and just at the border you can see all downtown of Montreal. The view is really impressive! I could see all the buildings, bridges and the river to. It’s an authentic forest full of trees, green areas and lakes! Normally the persons go there to have picnics in the summer season. This is definitely a place…

    Moving to Montreal

It’s been 2 weeks ago since I move to Montreal. I was so nervous when I decided to do this adventure. It was a huge step and I knew that it was going to be really challenging. I took the plane at 7:15am to Houston and then at 12:30pm to Montreal. By 5pm I was in Montreal. I came to practice my French and I always wanted to live in another country so it was perfect. Montreal has shown me a lot and keeps surprising me. Matacanes Video of the Journey

I went with a group of friends in June and we had to woke up at 4am because we needed to be at 5 in the point of reunion. Then from there we had to travel by especial trucks for the terrain that left us in a point where we had to put on an especial wardrobe that will allow us to resist the cold water, a helmet and some harnesses. Then we had to walk to the start point in Matacanes. It´s a road about 5 km or more, maybe I am wrong but it felt eternal. This was where we had to make the first jump from a…
